WEST Wing creator Aaron Sorkin is to make a feature-length movie about insurance giant Norwich Union.
Friends star Matthew Perry will play a lawyer who campaigns for reductions in compulsory excess after his wife is forced to pay £150 towards the repair of a scratch to her rear bumper which was not even her fault. Sorkin added: "We'll also have lots of people walking along corridors in Norwich talking about actuarial models and why no one wants to sleep with them." Dick Hart, editor of Cut! magazine, said the film would combine long periods of boredom with short bursts of utter tedium. He added: "It'll be the most important film about the insurance industry since Francis Ford Coppolla's Direct Line trilogy." |
