Morrissey to sue himself

MORRISSEY the Singer is to sue himself after things he said made people think he might be a bit racist.

Morrissey points an accusing finger at his own reflection

The former The Smiths frontman said his reputation had suffered lasting damage because he keeps emitting sentences that could easily be interpreted as being extremely distasteful.

In a submission to the High Court, Morrissey the Singer said: “When I talked about ‘the gates of England being flooded’ and the loss of British identity, it was obviously a malicious attempt by me to make me sound as if I had some rather questionable views about immigration.

“When I went on stage wrapped in a Union Jack against the backdrop of a huge photo of two skinheads it was merely the latest stage in an obsessive campaign of character assassination against myself.

“And when I quite clearly and unambiguously labelled the Chinese as a ‘sub-species’ I was engaging in a vindictive attempt to exclude me, Morrissey the Singer, from civilised society.”

Demanding £250,000 plus costs from himself, he added: “I just want the chance to prove that I am highly defamatory.”

Morrissey the Singer expert, Wayne Hayes, said: “It would be a real shame if Morrissey’s unsettling attitude to race and immigration was allowed to overshadow his pathetically childish animal rights opinions.

“If meat is murder then I’d love to see him arrest a crocodile.”
